Hi I’m Ken Bankoff. I am the CEO and founder of UltraGuard. What I am about to say I never thought that I would be posting such sensitive and personal information about my family and myself on this website.
I have been a pool contractor for the past 50 years. I built over a thousand pools plus restoring over a hundred commercial and residential pools using the UltraGuard product. I still have an A+ rating after 8-years with the BBB. I must admit I have had my share of problems. Judgments were put against me and my company. 15 to 25 years ago looking for a better product, I started to fiber glass residential and commercial pools. This was a deadly mistake I made because I offered a 5-year warranty. Within 3 years all my pools were chalking, blistering and then started to flake. I had to take personal bankruptcy, lost my house, my trucks and all credibility and the strong respect that I had from other contractors and manufactures prior to fiber glassing swimming pools. It’s amazing in the past 8-years offering UltraGuard to over 3,600 satisfied and happy homeowners as a DIY,I was able to build a million dollar plus business on the Internet.
Please remember for the past 8-years UltraGuard has never had a judgment or a lawsuit. I must repeat this; UltraGuard has never had a judgment or a lawsuit.
I believe the pool industry is worse than the politics in our great country. Slanderous lies and fraudulent remarks are made about their opponents. A manufacturer put on a website that I was a sex predator and wanted by the FBI. God forbid one of my children or grand children should learn of this from anyone who has a pool. There is also a contractor that used the UltraGuard on 22 of his commercial pools and they all failed. The reason these manufacturers resort to such low tactics is because they cannot compete with UltraGuard. I know your concern is the Intelius report and the ridiculous US Search report. It’s ridiculous because there are 4-5 pages for 1 judgment. If I were considering and did not have the true facts I would not buy from me, but you now have the opportunity to read every report and find that I am not the dead beat or villain it makes me appear. This is the furtherist thing from the truth. I used my personal funds to satisfy these customers listed below. Once theses negative reports are up they can never be taken down even if that customer was satisfied. A perfect example of this was 25 years ago my daughter hit a school bus and I had a 50 thousand dollar judgment placed against me. It took a year until my insurance company settled this claim.
My competition would love to see the UltraGuard product disappear from the internet. By this happening they would not have to compete with the best proven coating and warranties in the pool industry today. Until manufacturers in the pool industry come up with a quality product comparable to UltraGuard we will never have competition.
I know it’s difficult to make a decision based on one’s personal past history that may not be as strong as you would like it to be. I hope you realize who I am today and I am proud, yes proud what my accomplishments have been for the past 8-years with the UltraGuard product, and over 3,600 happy satisfied customers, and not be so critical of my past. I hope you believe any person or company is entitled to make one major mistake. Mine of course was fiber glassing pools with a 5-year warranty. If you give me the opportunity to serve you, I promise I will bend backwards to satisfy you as I have all previous customers.
Please read below and take time to read each judgment carefully. You will then realize I was the victim and paid a dear price because of fiberglass failures.
THESE JUDGMENTS LISTED BELOW HAVE ABSOLUTY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ULTRAGUARD PRODUCT. I must repeat this; the judgments listed below have absolutely nothing to do with the UltraGuard product.
These reports fall into 5 categories. (CLICK HERE)
1. Judgments because of fiber glass failures.
2. Court notifications that my attorney, David Roscher, recorded my personal bankruptcies including when I lost my house.
3. Six judgments for personal taxes that were not paid. Please click here for my accountant’s video.
4. Six miscellaneous judgments that I think you will realize being a pool contractor for more than 50-years are insignificant considering these customers were satisfied.
5. Three judgments that are duplications.
