Ken Bankoff is the founder of UltraGuard Pool Restoration. Ken has been in the pool industry for over 50 years. Ken Bankoff has worked tirelessly to serve the needs of the pool consumer and will stop at nothing to deliver results for them. In 2005 Ken Bankoff created a DIY solution for the homeowner to resurface their own pool. Ken sold the product (Ultraguard) online along with detailed instructions for the application of the system. Ken offered a very aggressive warranty to his customers and had a failure rate of less than 1.5%. In early 2011 Ken Bankoff sold his UltraGuard Company to Steven Sawtelle from Sawpaint. Steven has been in the industrial coating business for a very long time and continues to carry on the tradition that Ken Bankoff started.
Today Ken Bankoff is a consumer advocate and activist for pool consumer’s rights. Ken writes a number of blogs and advises consumers about the pitfalls of many so called “Pool Resurfacing” companies. Ken Bankoff continues to expose fraud in the industry and assist homeowners from his retirement.
